Well, this is a great site and a fantastic TO resource! I have an 8G005ZT1 something-or-other and it's a great radio, fun to work on. These radios are a superb product of human ingenuity.

My first T/O was a 7000Y I purchased as a serviceman in Thailand. It got beat-up pretty bad and given away. I bought my current Royal 7000 from Ebay about five months ago. It came malfunctioning but was easily repaired with a new IF transistor. This radio is priceless! I've received AM radio from 21 states without effort. The shortwave reception beats out my Panasonic RF-2200.

Très intéressant! Nous possédons quelques Zénith à notre Musée et je me souviens avoir utilisé un modèle 600 dans les années 1956-57 qui m'a permis de devenir "addict to SW"!

TKS fur ur site.
